Formed in the Summer of 2015, Catch Fire wasted no time catching the eye of every avid alternative music fan in their hometown of Nottingham, UK. Bringing a fresh and revitalised sound in amongst a very over saturated alternative scene, the band instantly caught the eye of Italian based label Rude Records (Set It Off, Blood Youth, Zebrahead).
The band signed to Rude for the release of their debut EP ‘The Distance I Am From You’ which hit the shelves in February 2016. The EP was received in high regard from the likes of Kerrang!, BBC Radio, Rock Sound, and numerous sold out headline performances helped push the band to the forefront of the UK scene.
Catch Fire followed this up with their strongest release to date ‘A Love That I Still Miss’, released through Rude Records in March 2017. This release is currently sitting at over 500,000 total streams across all online streaming platforms, and has received additional backing from the likes of Dan Carter of BBC Radio1. With the successful impact of ‘ALTISM’, the band has been given the opportunity to accompany the likes of Boston Manor, Trash Boat, Patent Pending, The Gospel Youth, Milestones on stages across the United Kingdom turning heads left, right and centre.
With the band set to enter the studio to start work on the first full-length record in spring of next year, there is an insurmountable amount of excitement surrounding the band and what next year holds. What can be said for definite, is that its set to be their biggest yet.
